“It’s been used in furniture, jewelry, and even to decorate the graves of the imperial family. This gem is a stone of growth; it speeds up anything that has become stagnant,” explains Perrakis. She recommends placing a piece in your garden or purse as a way to stimulate the growth of plants and finances.
Judy Hall, author of The Crystal Seer and The Crystal Bible, adds that jade was considered the most precious gem to the Chinese. Jade holds within it the five great virtues (wisdom, justice, modesty, courage, and purity) as well as five pillars of happiness (wealth, old age, health, natural death, and love of virtue).
